  Chemical compatibility:

  When transferring different fluids,the hose should show certain chemical properties,which is called chemical compatibility.Such as:low adsorption,good temperature resistance,not

  Easy aging,inswelling,corrosion resistance,low precipitate,etc.

  The chemical corrosion resistance decreases with the increase of temperature,and the chemicals that have no effect on the pipe at room temperature may have an effect on the hose with the increase of temperature

  Test method:

  When the compatibility between a liquid and a hose is uncertain,a immersion test is required:take a section of the sample tube and record its weight,diameter,length and other parameters

  Immerse the sample tube in an airtight container filled with liquid for at least 48 hours.Take out the sample tube,wash it with clean water,dry it and measure it again

  Its weight,diameter and length,observe the change,at the same time check whether the hose soft or brittle,if there is a change,that the hose and the liquid is not phase

  Capacity.If there is no change after test,the hose is compatible with the liquid.

  Pressure:

  Peristaltic pump application by the hose pressure performance.

  If the system pressure reaches or exceeds the hose limit,the hose will swell,causing excessive hose wear or hose rupture.

  Factors affecting the hose pressure are:material,diameter and wall thickness ratio.

  Temperature:

  The hose ADAPTS the working temperature is the user to consider the factor.Hoses of different materials have different temperatures.

  Size:

  The size of the hose has a direct impact on the flow,good pump design will consider the applicable hose inside and wall thickness,match the best hose size or pipe number

  Certification:

  Hoses may be certified for certain USES.Such as the United States pharmacopoeia standard EP,the United States food and drug administration standards FDA,the United States farmers

  Industry standard USDA and national health foundation standard NSF.

  Hose flexibility,elasticity and life:

  Different hoses have different resistance to repeated extrusion and friction by roller.Different pipe type,pipe material,pump head and running speed have different life.

  Service life in pump system is called flexible life,in a specific application,the characteristics of the pump is very consistent.Select long life,thick wall pipe,

  Choose large flow pump,running at lower speed can get longer hose life.
